Guided Trip to Lavender Farm & Rattlesnake Point

Lavender & Lake Adventure
A Guided Escape to Nature, History, and Fresh Air
Looking for the kind of day that feels like a deep breath? Join Parkbus guide Ksenia Khan for a unique day trip that mixes quiet beauty with natural wonder and a little history too.
First stop: a family-run lavender farm in Cambridge, where more than 15,000 plants bloom across peaceful, purple fields. Take a stroll, breathe in the scent, snap some photos, or just lay out a blanket and relax. This is the kind of place that makes you slow down and smile.
Included:
- A refreshing bottle of Hitchhiker Original Lemonade
- A taster jar of locally grown honey from Nith Valley Apiaries
After soaking in the lavender fields, we head to Rattlesnake Point/Crawford Lake. You’ll walk the boardwalk, wander through Carolinian forest, and step back in time at a reconstructed 15th-century Iroquoian village. Along the way, Ksenia will share stories that connect the land, its people, and the science that makes this place so special.
This guided ActiveDays trip is made for people who want a low-key adventure with great company and lots to discover. No experience needed. Just show up and enjoy the day.
